In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was presented a comparative characteristic of fishery indexes and extensity of a swim bladder inflammation disease of 8 fingerlings of two-way crossed mirror carp (Cyprinus carpio). As a result of the complex assessment there were selected two crosses which were perspective for further selection work on creation a basis of the Belarusian mirror carp species. In course of the study there were analysed fishery indexes of fingerlings of carp of different origin; evaluation of heterosis effect of two-way carp crosses; extensityof invasion of a swim bladder inflammation disease of the analyzed crosses At the stage of formation of the initial material for creation of the basis of the Belarusian mirror carp species among two-way crosses there determined combinations which were characterized by high fishery indexes of fingerlings and resistance to a swim bladder inflammation disease. In accordance to a complex of analysed traits there were selected the most perspective ones: cross breeds Lakhvinsky mirror x Sarboyanski; cross breeds of Mirror x Sarboyanski. It was evident that namely these groups first of all should be used for the breeding work.
