The results of scientific supervision provided to re-specialization programs being implemented in eight agricultural enterprises located in Gomel region (the Republic of Belarus) were presented. The research was realized in the conditions of the beef cattle breeding farms in 2007-2010. The study was realized by the examples of agricultural enterprises (farms) located on the territories with radioactive contamination. In course of the study there were analysed: arable plots of the farms; degree of soil contamination with radionuclides; coefficients of radionuclide transition from plants into animal products; capacities of produced contaminated products; amounts of generating capacities and machinery; labour force; structure of arable areas and cattle herds. Development of cattle breeding in the radionuclide-contaminated areas of Gomel region resulted in overall herd and breeding stock expansion. The farmsteads, being re-specialized into livestock breeding, show increased gross outputs of agricultural production. Forage conservation on winter-housing season of 2010-2011 in re-specialization farms of Gomel region, the main beef cattle production performance for January-October in 2010 was presented.
