In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented results of studies on effect of single-component and complex fertilizers on productivity of fibre flax (Linum usitatissimum) on loamy soils of Vitebsk region. Mixtures of single-component mineral fertilizers were less efficient in rendering influence on yielding capacity of total and long fibre in comparison with complex fertilizers. On soil with low phosphorous and potassium content it was more efficient to apply a form of complex fertilizers 5:16:35 N25P80K175 + B + Zn; and on soil which were more rich - 6:21:32 N20P87K107 + B +Zn which provided flax fibre yield of 25,0-29,4 centner/ha. Research results showed that more efficient use of complex forms of fertilizers, which increase yield of long scutched flax fibre on 1,2-4 kg/ha and its quality up to the number of 11,5-12,5.
