[Objective] The molluscicide activity of ethanol extract of Sapium sebiferum, Pterocarya stenoptera and Cryptomeria fortunei was compared. [Method] The molluscicide activity of ethanol extract of S. sebiferum, P. stenoptera and C. fortunei was determined through poison test of Oncomelania hupensis in laboratory. [Result] S. sebiferum, P. stenoptera and C. fortunei had certain molluscicide effect, and S. sebiferum and C. fortunei had better effect with little difference than P. stenoptera; ethanol could extract the effective molluscicide component from plant more completely, and its molluscicide effect was better than that of plant infusion. [Conclusion] Our study could provide theory reference for the plant selection of controlling O. hupensis ecologically.
