In order to efficacy evaluation of Lentur (triasulfuron + dicamba ) and Dayalant super (2,4-D + dicamba) in comparison with some current herbicides in weeds control of wheat fields, a set of field studies were conducted in 2008-2009 growing season at 8 locations of Iran, including Tehran (Karaj and Varamin), Ghorgan, Fars, Ahvaz and Kermans, Moghan and Khorasan . Treatments were arranged in a RCBD design with four replications. Treatments consisted of Lentur, Dayalant super, Graneatar, 2,4-D+MCPA, Chevaliar Bromicide AM, Total, Atlantis, Doplesan super and weed free. To evaluate the effects of treatments, different characteristics including percent damage based on EWRC scores at 30 days after spraying, percent weed population reduction, percent weed dry mater reduction (separately for each weeds) and yield were measured. According to the result, efficacy of Bromicide and Total were excellent (++++), and efficacy of 2,4-D+MCPA, Chevaliar and Atlantis were good (+++). The efficacy of Lentur ( 1 and 0.8 Li/ha)and Dayalant super ( 165 and 180 g/ha) were the same as 2,4-D+MCPA, Chevaliar, Doplesan super and Atlantis. The efficacy of Lentur ( 0.6 Li/ha), Dayalant super ( 150 g/ha) and granstar also were unacceptable. Generally, the efficacy of new herbicide (Lentur and Dayalant super) in comparison with Bromicide and Total was not acceptable, but the efficacy Lentur ( 1 and 0.8 Li/ha)and Dayalant super ( 165 and 180 g/ha)cy were acceptable, when they camper with 2,4-D+MCPA, Chevaliar, Doplesan super and Atlantis.
