Nowadays, artificial propagation of fish is one of the most important strategies to aquaculture development in many countries. In this regard, sturgeon fishes for their highly economic price have been noticed. In Iran, this experience comes back to the year of 1972 which numerous fingerlings of various sturgeon species released to the Caspian Sea in order to stock restoration. Because of the deterioration of their generation, application of modern technologies for diminishing the amount of mistakes will be one of the main strategies. All steps of recent research have been done at International Sturgeon Research Institute and Shahid Beheshti sturgeon hatchery. All of biometry registrations such as broodstock, temperature, time and location of fish catch ended at completion of larvae hatches. Determination of embryos development was based on Detlaff and also the investigation of sperms to sperm density and motility determination was based on the Persof sperm rating method. The investigation on the hematological indices carried out by measurement of blood serum albumin, hemoglobin, erythrocytes, leukocytes, and leukocyte formula. To statistical analyses of data (Average, SD) the Excel software used. 34 and 21 female and male broodstocks have been investigated respectively. The results are as following: average weight of females was 27.7 kg (16-45 kg), Average weight of males was 14.8 kg (10-20 kg), average length of females was 173±1.02 cm Average length of males was 150±1.06 cm, average age of females was 20.96 years old ( 17-28 years old) and average age of males was 16.38 years old (14-19 years old); regarding to hematological indices the results follow; the concentration of blood serum albumin was 32.28 gr/litre, the amount of hemoglobin was 84.59 gr/litre and the average amount of erythrocytes was 479000 per microlitre which these Amounts were the same in males and females. In accordance with artificial propagation the following characteristics showed; average weight of ovary was 4.85 kg, average diameter of ovum was 3.29 mm, the number of ovum per gram was 49.81, relative fecundity was 6.2, Germinal Vesicle ( GV ) Index was 8.45 and fertilization rate was 92.42 percent. Low average age of broodstocks indicated that these might be the fish have been artificially produced. The maturity season of these fish is the same as Russian sturgeon (A.gueldenstadtii ) living in Volga river. The final maturation of this fish (Persian sturgeon) is precisely accordant with Detlaff table of sexual maturation of sturgeons. The amount of leukocytes increased along with broodstock waiting before artificial propagation. The observation of active phagocytes of particles in blood serum of the fish indicated the developed immune system. To get better results during artificial propagation of sturgeons at south parts of Caspian Sea, the monitoring of various processes needed.
