In order to assess the yield and overall performance of introduced sunflower hybrids, 26 foreign hybrids as well as 2 check varieties were assessed in 4 agricultural research stations in Iran, namely Karaj, Khoy, Isfahan and Sari, in each under a randomized complete block arrangement with four replications. During the growing season, measurements were made on morphological and phenological traits, and yield per plot, 1000-seed weight and oil-percentage were recorded after harvest. Combined analysis of variance revealed significant interaction between environments and hybrids, which necessitates the comparison of hybrids in each location. In Karaj, Azargol and Farrokh had highest yields, while lowest yields were recorded for EGH-631, SHF-81-90 and Musan, respectively. In Sari, highest yields were observed in ES-Petunia and Sirena, while lowest yields were related to Farrokh and Musan. In Khoy, highest yields were seen in EGH-631, Albatre and Azargol and Armada, ES-Petunia and Sirena performed worst. In Isfahan, EGH-631, Favorit and Farrokh yielded the best, and Armada and Apolon had lowest yield records.
