The basic requirements of olive development program in Iran is identification and introduction of compatible cultivars with different climates so region with winter cold of the country. The present research was conducted to Investigation frost damage and selecting tolerance olive cultivars in province of Qazvin. Appearing no precedence freezing in winter 2008, the damage severely has for olive gardens, especially gardens newly established in many from regions of Iran. But happily in such regions as olive farming was very oldness, almost frost damage not to be very much and only product next year it was damage and most old tree is not damage intense. In this research evaluate the scope of damage to annual shoots, perennial shoots, trunk, root and product too consider cold effects to vegetative and procreative phases. In order to selected two regions of Tarom-e-sofla area in Qazvin province. The first region was altitude 300-350 metre and second region was altitude 1000 metre of sea level. In stages growth recorded characteristic. The result show in between local cultivars, cv. Charchangi was most cold tolerance.
