The aim of the research was to investigate spatial patterns of the microlandscapes of raised bogs and their influencing factors, and to examine the degree of the raised bog degradation and their importance for planning of bog conservation measures. Mapping of bog microlandscapes has been done using method developed by the author of this paper. Spatial patterns of bog microlandscapes have been analysed. Three groups have been divided according to the degree of anthropogenic influence. It was concluded that microlandscapes has specific spatial distribution only in large bogs with several 5-7 m high domes, while in smaller bogs, where height of domes does not exceed 3-5 m, they are not well-pronounced. Microlandscapes characterising degraded bogs dominate in the raised bogs of the Austrumlatvia Lowland.
