Experiments were conducted under pot culture conditions to study the interaction effect of Zinc with P, S, Cu and Fe on plant growth and dry matter weight of rice using soils from Rajshahi, Ishurdi, Jessore and Mymensingh with 3 replications. There were 3 rates of Zn applied in combination with 4 rates of P,S, Cu and Fe. The plant height, number of tillers and the dry matter weight at 64 days after transplanting were recorded to assess the treatment effect. The effect of Zn on plant height was significant in Zn x P and Zn x Cu experiment. There were no interaction effect in Zn x S, Zn x P, Zn x Cu and Zn x Fe experiment. The number of tillers were not influenced by Zn except in Zn x Fe experiment. The number of tillers were significantly affected in all the experiments except Zn x Cu experiment. There were significant effect of Zn in Zn x P and Zn x Fe experiment but not in Zn x S and Zn x Cu experiments on dry matter weight.
