After having analysed of the machinery for cereals and green fodder harvesting, conclusions have been drawn that for the need of mathematical modelling, simulation investigations, and functional-and-endurance analysis of machinery construction necessary are: identification of processing, perception of phenomena in machine-plant system, and cognition of physical-and-mechanical plant properties. Cognition of these processes and physical-and-mechanical plant properties is the basis of mathematical optimisation of agricultural machinery.
