The present annual production of waste waters in Poland reaches up to 15 milliard cubic m, about 2 milliard cubic m of which being fertile sewage (communal, agricultural-food industry and liquid manure). The sewage contains all nutrients necessary to plants, including about 500 thousand tons of NPK. Reasonable agricultural utilization of all the sewage in Poland can be realized basing on large-area systems where waste waters would be transported to agricultural regions suffering mostly water deficit.
