In the article there are discussed methodic and practice problems of regional typifying, also excepted by the example of regional European Union countries applied and adapted for Lithuania conditions methodic of regional types use in formulation and realization of differential regional rural development politics possibilities. The urgency of this work is described by the aspiration to joint to more rational measures of Lithuanian rural regional development, differentiated according separate rural regional specific features, the preparation system.
