Varijabilnost specificne lisne mase nekih sorata i populacija lucerne (Medicago sativa L.).
1986
Halagic S.
The variability of specific leaf mass of some alfalfa varieties and populations has been studied. Obtained results show that specific leaf mass varies significantly in the first year and very little in the second, depending on the variety. It has been established that specific leaf mass depends significantly on the stage of plant development. First harvest is an important factor which the specific leaf mass is dependant on (in both years of the study, fourth harvest produced the lowest specific leaf mass). During the second harvest, it has been established that the population and soil nitrogen content have a significant effect on specific leaf mass, while nitrogen fixation ability, using Rhizobium meliloti Dang., did not have any significant effect.
