The use of different variants of fertilizer caused a change in established chemical values in pseudogley and eutric cambisol soils, while the extent of the change depended upon the type and dose of mineral fertilizer. The effect of the used fertilizers, with and without the calcium component, on the change of soil acidity is more apparent on eutric cambisol than on pseudogley soil. Fertilization caused a change in the content of exchangeable cations in the adsorptive complex. Mineral fertilizers which represent pure chemical compounds accelerate the process of acidification in the studied soils.
