In consequence of long-term application of mineral fertilizers along with elements of plant nutrition the accumulation of heavy metals and radionuclides occurs in soil, degradation process is expressed. The concentration of nickel, zink, copper, manganese, radioactive caesium increases in fruit. The question of rightfulness of annual application of mineral fertilizers in high doses and the use of phosphate-potassium fertilizer as protector of plants from cumulation of radioactive elements in them is under discussion.
