Osservazioni sulla variabilita' della lunghezza degli stiletti di neanidi di Viteus vitifolii (Fitch) (Rhynchota-Plylloxeridae) in rapporto alle generazioni [Puglia].

Английский. The number of generations and some morphometric parameters of grape Phylloxera 1. aged larvae, Viteus vitifolii (Fitch), on American grape hybrids were studied in Apulia (Southern Italy). The grape Phylloxera achieved nine generations per year in the examined environment mainly infesting vine leaves rather than roots. Young larvae can colonize either the roots or the leaves, aside from the length of their stylets. Natural selection allows the few young larvae with longer stylets to install themselves on the grape roots, while we found the majority of the young larvae on the leaves independently of the length of their stylets. The length of the 1. aged larvae rostral setae collected on the leaves did not increase progressively with the course of generations as maintained from some authors (Topi, 1909; Grassi et al., 1912). It varied, indeed, from a minimum of 90 micronm in the 4. and 5. generations to maximum values of 159 micronm in the 7. and 160 micronm in the 3.
Показать больше [+] Меньше [-]ITALIANO: In Puglia sono state compiute osservazioni su alcuni parametri morfometrici relativi a neanidi di 1. eta' di fillossera della vite - Viteus vitifolii (Fitch) - su ibridi di viti americane in relazione al susseguirsi delle generazioni. Negli ambienti e negli anni della sperimentazione, la fillossera ha compiuto nove generazioni partenogenetiche per anno, prevalentemente a spese dell'apparato fogliare. Si e' osservato che la lunghezza degli stiletti boccali di neanidi di 1. eta' raccolte da galle fogliari non aumenta progressivamente col succedersi delle generazioni. Si e' altresi' rilevato che le neanidi di 1. eta' possono colonizzare sia l'apparato fogliare che quello radicale, indipentemente dalla lunghezza degli stiletti boccali. La selezione naturale, tuttavia, operera' in modo da consentire l'insediamento di neanidi a stiletti sia brevi che lunghi sulle foglie e di neanidi prevalentemente a stiletti lunghi sulle radici.
