At the helminthological examinations of 18 badgers, Meles meles L., the following endohelminths so far have been recorded: Alaria alata (Goeze, 1782) Hall et Wigdor, 1918 in 5.5% of examined samples, Trogletrema acutum (Leuckart, 1842) in 5.5%, Mesocestoides lineatus (Goeze, 1782) in 11.1%, Uncinaria stenocephala Railliet, 1884 in 11.1%, Molineus patens (Dujardin, 1845) Petrow, 1928 in 16.6% and Trichinella spiralis (Owen, 1833) in 22.2% of examined samples. All montioned parasites have been for the first time recorded in Slovenia, while Troglotrema acutum for the first time in badger.
