Effect of partial submergence on the levels of endogenous growth hormones in stem of rice cultivars. Short communication.
1987
Singh S. | Bhattacharjee D.P.
Partial submergence or water logging increased biosynthesis of indole acetic acid (IAA) and reduced IAA oxidase activity in the stem of both tall (IET 6205) and semitall (Jagannath) rice cultivars. Gibberellic acid x (GA) increased at tillering and flowering remarkably in semi tall Jagannnath under submergence.
