For induction of shoot from the end of ginger stem by tissue culture, it was effective to add 10mg/l of 6-BA and 0.4mg/l of NAA to a 1/2 MS medium, the induced shoot was multiplicated 3-5 times. The induced shoot could be grown to a full plant in the medium added 3mg/l of 6-BA and 5mg/l of NAA.
