We studied the induction of the mutant treated by r-rays to anther culture of rice and the characteristics of the trait manifestation in its progeny. The types of the mutants in the progeny treated by r-rays to anther culture callus of rice appeared with high frequency and manifestation of the traits were variable. Also, the early and high yielding good lines could be selected in a short preiod.
