Aplicaci.n del modelo STICS para la determinaci.n de la lixiviaci.n de nitratos bajo cultivo de remolacha azucarera en la zona no saturada del suelo.

Se ha aplicado el modelo STICS a los datos de una parcela experimental de remolacha azucarera situada en la localidad de Matauko, dentro de la Zona Vulnerable del acu.fero cuaternario de Vitoria-Gasteiz. En dicha parcela se aplicaron seis tratamientos diferentes y se estudi. la lixiviaci.n de nitratos en cuatro de las aplicaciones. El objetivo de este estudio ha sido comparar los resultados del modelo con los obtenidos en el campo. Se han modelizado cuatro de los tratamientos aplicados en la parcela, simulando a nivel diario el balance de agua y de nitr.geno (kg N/ha) en suelo y planta. Los resultados del modelo coinciden bien con los experimentales, sobre todo en los momentos de episodios claros de infiltraci.n, y en la evoluci.n de la concentraci.n en nitratos, con una notable disminuci.n en las concentraciones en la parte final del periodo considerado.

Английский. The STICS model has been applied to the data of an experimental plot of sugar beet located in Matauko, in the Vulnerable Zone of the Quaternary aquifer of Vitoria-Gasteiz. In this plot six different treatments were applied and the nitrate leaching was studied. The aim of this study has been to compare the results of the model with the data obtained in the field. Four of the treatments applied in the plot has been modelled, simulating the daily balance of water and nitrogen (kg N/ha) in the soil and in the plant. Model.s results adjusted enough good with the experimental data, in the moments of clear episodes of infiltration, and in the evolution of the concentration in nitrates, with a notable decrease in the concentrations in the final part of the considered period.
