The experiment was conducted at Margahayu Experimental Garden, Lembang Horticultural Research Institute, 1250 meters above sea level from October 1988 until February 1989. Plot size 1 m x 3 m and planted distance was used. The level of the factors is as follows: The first factor-nitrogen dosage: n1 = 420 N, n2 = 350 N, n3 = 280 N, n4 = 210 N, n5 = 140, n6 = 70 N and n7 = 0 N per hectare. The second factor-bulbet weight size: b1 = 1.70 g, b2 = 1.30 g, b3 = 0.90 g and b4 = 0.50 g. Results indicated that : Interaction between nitrogen dosage and bulbet weight size gave the highest yield of dry bulbet. The bulbet weight size 1.70 (b1) gave the highest yield of plant height, leaves, number, stem, diameter, fresh gross weight, dry net weight, bulb diameter and dry bulb weight.
