Influence of phenological development, vitality of fruits, terms of seeding, depths of seeding, pH, moisture contents in soil and mineral fertilization of Gallinsoga parviflora on growth rate and development of this weed have been investigated. Development of Gallinsoga depends upon the type of cultivated plant which weeds in. The most reproductability has been observed in fields of potato. Germination power of Gallinsoga is considerable and varies in course of year: the maximum reaches in April, May and in the second half of summer. The most important influence is the average day temperature of air rise of which determines the phenological development of Gallinsoga and reduces the growth cycle of the weed. Gallinsoga germinates on surface of soil down to 1 cm depth. This species grows well in the soil pH range from 4.8 to 7.2. The optimum moisture content in soil for Gallinsoga amounts to 60-80 percent of water content capacity however it may exist also in very dry conditions. Mineral fertilization reduces germination of Gallinsoga, whereas its further development is generally determined by nitrogen.
