It is proved by studies in Poles'ye (Forest zone) of Ukraine that in order to choose effective doses of nitrogen fertilizers for fiber flax it is necessary to take into consideration the hydrothermic conditions in the course of maximum growth of plant biomass. Split application of nitrogen in tank mixtures in extreme years makes it possible not only to increase fiber flax productivity but to improve the technology for growing of the crop through the reduction of number and cost of treatments, savings in energy resources, increase in labour productivity as well.
