It is found out that there is great variability in possibility of application of registered species of ruderal vegetation from Zemun Polje (Yugoslavia) as for feeding and phytotherapy of domestic animals. 22 species are suitable for domestic animals feeding, and 16 for use in veterinary practice. Most of them are hemicryptophytic. Species for feeding domestic animals are a good source of vitamin C and carotene. Some of them are better than usual crops. They have satisfactory gross energy and yield per square meter, too. Medical herbs found in this invetigation are useful for curing some common illnesses in domestic animal production.
