Efficacy of different insecticides against gram pod borer, Heliothis armigera Hub. on gram crop under field conditions.

Studies on the efficacy of three insecticides viz. ThiodanR 35 EC, (Endosulfan) KarateR 2.5 EC (Cyhalothrin) and FCR-4545, 25 E (Cyfluthrin K+L) were applied against Heliothis armigera Hub. on Gram crop. It was found that ThiodanR 35 EC and FCRR-4545 25 E were better chemicals in controlling the pest population, while KarateR 2.5 EC was comparatively less effective.
