Two experiments were done in non-ploughed paddy field, which were favourable for multiple cropping, keeping soil fertility and identifying a rational way for soil management. When cultivating first cropping plants by covering them with straw, the physical condition of soil was improved and the yield was increased as 14.3 percent as compared with rice monoculture for giving favourable conditions to the yield forming of crops with the increasement of soluble nutrient content.
