In a physiological study of water parameters in four cultivars of wheat, as DPV increased and soil humidity decreased, decreases were observed in leaf temperature increases. No significant differences were observed in yield or its components or in growth parameters such as leaf area index, leaf area duration, and the rate of relative growth. An important loss of tillers in the four varieties was observed toward the end of the crop cycle in November. The stability of membrane structures, in relation to the water stress and estimated by the Sullivan Test, demonstrated a similar degree of deterioration in the four cultivars.
