This work was a continuation of the collaborative project among the entomologists of NCSU, Philippines, and Thailand. The dry season trial consisted of 146 lines selected for reevaluation of their resistance to the complex of insects. These included 29 lines from the F4 leafhopper test, 44 lines from the ICRISAT test, and 73 lines from the insect germplasm test. Tainan 9 was included as a check entry. Three common species found in this season were thrips,leafhopper, and aphid. The numbers of thrips and leafhopper were low, however, aphids were present in high numbers. There were some lines in the insect germplasm test showed resistance to aphid. Pod damages varied greatly ranging from 4 to 66 %. Only two lines, (Robut 33-1 x NC Ac 2214) and (DH3-20 x NC Ac 2214), produced higher pod dry weight than Tainan 9. Ninety two lines were selected for re-evaluation in the rainy season. The test entries included 20 lines from the F5 leafhopper test, 32 lines from the ICRISAT test, and 40 lines from the insect germplasm test. Tainan 9 was also included as a check entry. Leafhopper and thrips were found at high incidence in this season. Ratings were done on percentage of damaged leaves caused by these two insects and on peanut stripe virus and leaf spot. The percentages of damaged leaves caused by leafhopper varied from 3.00 to 39.75 % in the first count, 2.75 to 36.25 % in the second count, and 0 to 10.25 % in the third count. The percentages of damaged leaves caused by thrips varied from 1:00 to 36.25 % in the first count, and 10.00 to 21.55 % in the second count. Several lines produced higher pod dry weight per plant than Tainan 9.
