The investigations prove, that the crossbreds require roughages of a better quality and that they tolerate higher amounts of concentrates. As compared with Lowland Black-and-White in both groups of crossbreds higher frequencies of acetonemia respectively 64 and 45 percent as well as lower frequencies of acid-base balance were found.
