Copper is among elements and accompany in activation of many vital enzymes and its deficiency in animals can lead to various disorders. Copper deficiency in cattle may be of primary type that means that deficiency of copper of used forage, its low intake cause deficiency or may be of type secondary that occur due to antagonistic effect of some elements (molybdenum, sulfur and iron) that cause problems in copper intake or metabolism. One of the important enzymes in energy conversion processes in the intracellular environment is cytochrome C oxidase enzyme which is dependent on copper. Molybdenosis or copper deficiency reduces activity of this enzyme, as a result, energy conversion incellular environment does not fully done so due to lack of complete conversion of cellular energy will affect in one hand on fertility and on the other hand on milk production. Considering these materials, this research is conducted in order to clarify the role of copper in dairy cows anestrus complication and will be compared dairy cows with cyclic activity to clarify its role in the incidence of this complication. What we can find from this survey is that, is the role of copper deficiency in dairy anestrus herds should not be neglected. At the same time note that complications after birth in anestrus dairy cows is a multifactorial problem that is energy deficiency, metabolic diseases after parturition such as fatty liver syndrome and ketosis, milk production, deficiency of vitamin A, phosphorus, cobalt, manganese and hereditary factors can be effective. Therefore, besides the mentioned cases, particularly in young and in growing animals like heifers and belly and in rainful seasons like winter and spring, more attention should be paid to the copper deficiency problem.
