Overview of the deer's (fam. Cervidae/subfam. Cervinae) parasitofauna in South-East Europe. Health control represents an inseparable segment of the wildlife management weather it is free roaming or farming population. The knowledge about the health status of the wildlife is significant for their health preservation, but also for the human and domestic animal health, considering the fact that wild animals can be a reservoir of infective diseases. The parasitofauna status of the game animals is a valuable segment of the total epizootic situation in establishing health control programs for these animals. In this paper will be presented the most important data, procurable to us, about the parasitofauna of the deers (fam. Cervidae/ subfam. Cervinae) in South-East Europe.
