Approaches, methods and indicators of dairy farm sustainability were examined in this paper. The concept of sustainable development is not definitive and it will develop in future period. As a consequence, used methods for sustainability assessment are based on simplification of theory. Quality selection of indicators of economic, environ-mental and social dimension of sustainability, as well as application of contemporary methods, enable better measurement and monitoring of dairy farm sustainability.
