Variety structure of winter wheat in the Kemerovoо region and its role in crop yielding capacity increase | Сортовая структура озимой пшеницы в Кемеровской области и ее роль в повышении урожайности

For the present winter wheat in West Siberia occupies insignificant areas since the cultivation technology has not been adopted, there is limited number of winter-hardy varieties, and seed-growing of the available varieties is not organized. The areas under winter wheat in the Kemerovo Region ranged from 4 ha in 2005 to 10851 ha in 2011 making a little over 3% of the total area under wheat in the Region. Winter wheat yields varied from 0.37 to 2.53 tons/ha on the farms, and from 0.29 to 5.63 tons/ha on the State Variety Testing plots. The research purpose was the comparative study of winter wheat varieties in terms of yielding capacity and revealing the most promising ones for hydrothermal conditions of the Kemerovo Region. Winter wheat field trials in 2000-2011 were carried out on three State Variety Testing plots of the Kemerovo Region located in the steppe and forest-steppe zones. 11 winter wheat varieties developed by the Siberian Research Institute of Plant Growing and Selective Breeding, the Siberian and Altai Research Institutes of Agriculture, and the Institute of Cytology and Genetics, Siberian Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences, were investigated. The research revealed the necessary of improving the structure of the areas under winter wheat in the Kemerovo Region by means of new more adapted frost-resistant varieties and by improving the organization measures of their early generation seed-growing. Of the studied new winter wheat varieties the following varieties can yield as much as 3.22-4.55 tons/ha: Skipetr, Omskaya 4, Novosibirskaya 40, and Novosibirskaya 32.

Русский. Озимая пшеница в Западной Сибири распространена недостаточно. Посевные площади под этой культурой в Кемеровской области менялись от 4 га в 2005 г. до 10851 га в 2011 г., что составляет немного более 3% от общей площади посева пшеницы в регионе. Урожайность озимой пшеницы варьировала в производстве от 0,37 до 2,53 т/га, на госсортоучастках – от 0,29 до 5,63 т/га. Цель исследований – сравнительное изучение сортов озимой пшеницы по урожайности и выявление наиболее перспективных для гидротермических условий Кемеровской области. Полевые опыты с озимой пшеницей проводили в 2000-2011 гг. на 3 госсортоучастках, расположенных на территориях степной и лесостепной зон в пределах Кемеровской области. Объект исследований – 11 сортов озимой пшеницы селекции Сибирского НИИ растениеводства и селекции, Сибирского НИИ сельского хозяйства, Алтайского НИИ сельского хозяйства, Института цитологии и генетики СО РАН. Установлено, что структуру посевных площадей под озимую пшеницу в Кемеровской области необходимо совершенствовать за счет внедрения новых, более адаптированных морозоустойчивых сортов и за счет усиления организационных мероприятий по их первичному семеноводству. Из числа изученных сортов, стабильно формирующих высокие урожаи (32,2 до 45,5 ц/га), выделяются сорта Скипетр, Омская 4, Новосибирская 40, Новосибирская 32.
