In conditions of stationary experiments at three different locations included in the potato production area the effects of manure as well as three levels of NPK mineral fertilizers (65.7, 98.6 and 131.4 kg per ha N, 22.7, 34.0 and 45.0 kg per ha P, 54.0, 81.3 and 107.9 kg per ha K) to crop yields were studied. The obtained results within 21 years show that the graduated rates of nutrients increase the yields only to some extent and not equally in all localities and all crops. On average, the effects of fertilization increased crop yield by from 6.9 to 46.5%. The soil impact for the crops production has a significant influence which varies depending on the crop from 54.32 to 97.08%. Utilization of the results from long-term experiments is not focused only on agriculture, but optimalised doses of fertilizers have positive impact on the environment protection as well.
