Biocenological Investigations of the Macrozoobenthos in the Northern Part of the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast in Depths up to 30 m

The nearby coastal area is mostly influenced by anthropogenic pollution. The main reason is closeness of the land and the river flows. The biggest polluter of our coast is the River of Danube, by which contaminants enter from Central Europe. Biocenological investigations of the macrozoobenthos in the northern part of the Bulgarian Black sea coast are based on 30 samples taken by determinate scheme in different type of sediment: stony, sand, mud and mixed. It was carried out taxonomic identification of the zoobenthic species, determined the dynamics of the quantitative parameters, statistical analyzes were used to assess the ecological status.
