In course of the research there was studied the botanical composition and biochemical characteristics of perennial grasses, taken in long-duration fixed experiences at Minsk Experimental Agricultural Station (Belarus). Data of laboratory analyses made a basis for an estimation of qualitative parameters of forage crops in forage production. The combination of qualification of personnel to perfection of methodology and equipment of laboratories by the modern equipment was an indispensable condition of reception of the authentic analytical materials meeting modern requirements. The cereal grasses of the local type which has taken root into herbage, on concentration of exchange energy do not concede remained inseminated species. The highest indicators were noted at white clover (Trifolium repens), common dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) and milfoil (Achillea millefolium). Definition of nutritiousness of herbages under the content was neutral-detergent and acidic-detergent fibre was more perfect and objective method.
