Composición química y actividad antibacteriana del aceite esencial de Pimpinella anisum L.

Испанский язык; кастильский. Los aceites esenciales son productos que se destacan por su rápido desarrollo y múltiples posibilidades de aplicación en la agricultura. Desde el punto de vista fitosanitario existe una demanda creciente de nuevos antimicrobianos, situación evidente para bacterias como Xanthomonas campestris pv. vesicatoria Doidge (Dye). El objetivo de este trabajo fue establecer las potencialidades del aceite esencial de Pimpinella anisum L. como candidato para el desarrollo de nuevos antibacterianos para el control de X. campestris pv. vesicatoria. El aceite esencial se obtuvo por hidrodestilación, se determinó su rendimiento y su composición química se investigó por CG/EM. Se realizó la evaluación antibacteriana por difusión en agar y se determinaron las concentraciones mínima inhibitoria y mínima bactericida por la técnica de diluciones seriadas. Se determinó la actividad reguladora del crecimiento del aceite bioactivo en placas Petri sobre tomate. El aceite esencial de anís, rendimiento 0,8 por ciento (v/p), se caracterizó por la presencia de metil chavicol como componente mayoritario La esencia de P. anisum mostró un efecto bactericida elevado (CMI y CMB=0,05 por ciento). El aceite de P. anisum no afectó la germinación de las semillas, ni el crecimiento de las plántulas de tomate por los tratamientos de adición al sustrato e inmersión durante un minuto, por lo cual su aplicación práctica podría ser por incorporación al sustrato y/o por tratamiento de la semilla. El aceite esencial de P. anisum, por su rendimiento, eficacia y no fitotoxicidad, es un candidato promisorio para el desarrollo de plaguicidas destinados al control de X. campestris pv. vesicatoria.

Английский. Essential oils stand out for their rapid development as products and multiple applications in agriculture. From the phytosanitary point of view, there is a growing demand for new antimicrobials, and the situation becomes evident for bacteria as Xanthomonas campestri pv. vesicatoria Doidge (Dye). The aim of this work was to find out the potential of the essential oil obtained from Pimpinella anisum L. as a candidate for the development of a new antibacterial product to control X. campestri pv. vesicatoria. The essential oil was obtained by hydrodistillation and its yield determined. The chemical composition was investigated by GC/ MS. Antibacterial assessment was conducted using agar diffusion and MIC and MBC determined by serial dilution. The growth regulation activity was studied in tomato using the Petri dish test. The essential oil of P anisum, yield of 0,8 percent, (v/w), was characterized by the presence of methyl chavicol as the main component. A high bactericidal action (MIC and MBC=0,05 percent)was observed with no effect on seed germination or plantlet growth when the oil was added to the substrate and/or by seed immersion during 1 minute suggesting that its practical application could be through its incorporation to the substrate and/or the seed treatment. Considering its yield, efficacy and no phytotoxicity, the essential oil of P. anisum is a promising candidate for the development of pesticides aimed at controlling Pimpinella anisum L. pv. vesicatoria.
