An experiment was conducted during the kharif season of 2008 at Agronomy Research Farm, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar to study the response of pearl millet hybrid (HHB-197) to organic and inorganic sources of nutrients. Among the 12 different treatments viz., Control (fertilizer), 75% RDF+FYM @ 5 tI ha, 100% RDF+FYM @ 5 t/ha,75% RDF+FYM @ 10 tIha, 100% RDF+FYM @ 10 tIha, 75% RDF+Vermicompost @ 2.5 t/ha, 100% RDF+Vermicompost @ 2.5 tIha, 75% RDF+Vermicompost @ 5 t/ha, 00% RDF+Vermicompost @ 5 t/ha, 75% RDF, 100% RDF and 125% RDF were applied to pearl millet crop, maximu growth was recorded in 125% RDF (TI2). TI2 produced significantly higher grain yield (kg/ha). Maximum stover and biological yield was recorded in T12.
