The fertility maps are useful tools to know about land resources. These maps are essential to do correct fertilizer recommendations, monitoring the changes of soil fertility level and also to predict toxicity or deficiency of elements in the soil. The present report included the work done in three provinces of Iran, namely; Fars, Golestan and Khuzestan on a project entitled "Mapping spatial patterns of secondary nutrients in areas under irrigated wheat in three provinces of Iran". The studied areas are under irrigated wheat cultivation. Using topo maps with scale of 1: 50,000, the area was divided into grids each of them having one kilometer square area. Using Global Positioning System (GPS) instrument composite soil samples were taken from grid nodes and analyzed for secondry nutrients including Ca, Mg and S. Soil samples were analyzed in the laboratories of the Department of Soil and Water Research in the above stated provinces. After getting the laboratory results, a data files including the laboratory results was submitted to Soil and Water Research Institute for the purpose of correlation and quality control. The maps of spatial distribution of secondry minerals were produced by research ledear in Arc GIS environment, using geostatistical techniqus. Separate albums were made available for each province includeing maps of individual soil fertility variables.
