The monograph presenting research findings on the changes taken place in Latvian agriculture from 2000-2010 and observed trends (across the regions using indicators from 2001 till 2010 upon the condition that data were available), studying more profoundly the dairy sector and creation of its value added, as well as the grain and rapeseed sectors. The monograph consists of three chapters. Chapter 1 ''Economic conditions for agrarian sectors in Latvia'' summarises and analyses the data about economic conditions in the agrarian sector of Latvia in the period from 2000-2010. Chapter 2 ''Grain, rape and dairy production'' studies more profoundly the trends observed in dairy, grain and rapeseed sectors, because the most significant product flows by both volume and value in Latvia develop. Chapter 3 ''Creation of value added in dairy sector'' summarises, analyses and compares with other EU counties the information about the aspects of value added creation in dairy sector of Latvia comprising both primary and secondary level.
