Application of classification of trees for an assessment of their differentiation and structure of forest stands | Применение классификации деревьев для оценки их дифференциации и строения древостоев

Английский. Considered are the possibilities of classification of trees to assess the structure of forest stands and indicators for forest thinning operations. Currently, the classification of trees on the growth, size and relative position is weakly used at forest valuation and forming of forest stand. The study object served 40-year-old line plantings of Siberian spruce growing in the conditions of the Sverdlovsk region. The scheme of separation of trees into classes and subclasses of the relative position in combination with the series of average reducing numbers allows us to express and evaluate the structure of forest stands by different methods; to use for an assessment of differentiation of trees new sings; to dismember the total number of trees on the thickness distribution for the homogeneous components (by class of growth); to set intensity of thinning the forest on the number and condition of trees of different growth classes. With such a classification and selection of trees as fully as possible the ecology of developing forest communities is considered. The felling intensity will be determined by the number and size of trees of particular classes and sub-classes within the established standards to reduce completeness of stands. This improvement of existing rules of forest care provide silvicultural and ecological efficiency of felling, and the separation of trees by size and relative position in the group will monitor the quality of their carrying out without marking trees — a major source of costs for forest valuation of felling areas. In such a way, the implementation of the classification tree on the growth and relative position will improve the environmental and economic performance of this important forest management activity, as well as significantly improve the scientific level of the organization of forestry.

Русский. Рассматриваются возможности использования классификации деревьев для оценки строения древостоев и определения показателей рубок ухода за лесом. В настоящее время классификация деревьев по росту, размерам и относительному положению слабо используется при таксации и формировании древостоев насаждений. Объектом исследования служили густые 40-летние рядовые посадки ели сибирской, произрастающие в условиях Свердловской обл. Схема разделения деревьев на классы и подклассы относительного положения в сочетании с рядами средних редукционных чисел позволяет выразить и оценить строение древостоев разными методами; использовать для оценки дифференциации деревьев новые показатели; расчленить общий ряд распределения деревьев по толщине на однородные составляющие (по классам роста); по числу и состоянию деревьев разных классов роста устанавливать интенсивность рубок ухода за лесом. При такой классификации и отборе деревьев максимально полно учитывается экология развивающихся лесных сообществ. Интенсивность рубок будет определяться числом и размерами деревьев определенных классов и подклассов в пределах установленных нормативов снижения полноты древостоев. Такое совершенствование действующих правил ухода за лесом обеспечит лесоводственно-экологическую эффективность рубок, а разделение деревьев по размерам и взаимному расположению в группах позволит контролировать качество их проведения без клеймения деревьев — весомой статьи затрат на таксацию лесосек. Таким образом, внедрение в практику рубок ухода классификации деревьев по росту и относительному положению позволит повысить экологическую и экономическую эффективность этого важнейшего лесохозяйственного мероприятия, а также существенно повысить научный уровень организации лесного хозяйства.
