The contribution analyzes results of agricultural land market prices development in selected districts of Slovakia. The existence of statistical data on the level of market prices and the objectivity of these information is essential for harmonization of land market with countries of European Union. In addition to the regional aspect, the research was extended to analyze land market development in different production conditions represented by agricultural production regions. Production regions represent determining factors of economical effectiveness and differentiation of agricultural production and agricultural enterprises. The data obtained from real estate cadastre and Questionnaires of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Agricultural Paying Agency, as well as Soil-quality databank of RIAFE were used for research. The analysis results have extended database builded by RIAFE concerning the transactions on land market in monitored districts.
