This observation was conducted to find out a relation of changing in environmental factors on distribution of gracilarioid along Laem Tien, Laem Sok and Ao Cho coastal area in Trat province. The distribution of the gracilarioid was determined as percent coverage of the seaweed. The samplings were assessed from July 2008 to June 2009. Only two species (G. changii and G. salicornia) of the gracilarioid was found in this study. The distribution of these two species showed relationships with the environmental factors. Content of the nitrite showed a negative correlation to the distribution of G. changii (r = -0.384, P LT 0.05). The distribution of G. salicornia had a negative correlation to nitrate content (r = -0.477, P LT 0.01), while this specie had a positive correlation to water temperature (r = 0.448, P LT 0.01), pH (r = 0.622, P LT 0.01) and ammonia content (r = 0.423, P LT 0.05).
