In southern regions of Belarus soil and climatic conditions allow to grow the seeds of lucerne and oriental galega. The research, aimed on evaluation of the role of micro nutrients (magnesium, molybdenum, zinc, copper and boron) on seed productivity of lucerne (Medicago sativa) and goat's rue (Galega orientalis L.) is presented. Structure and crop yield of the seeds of lucerne and galega depending on trace elements application is studied. Influence of trace elements on crop yield of both cultivars depending on phases of plant development is analyzed. Studying the influence of microelements on the yield of lucerne seeds shows that this yield depends on the choice of a variety: the variety Belorusskaya has a great advantage over the variety Zaykevich, at the same time the variety Prevoshodnaya has advantage over the variety Belorusskaya. When Borium is used for top dressing of Lucerne and is applied to soil, it turns to be the best of all the microelements to be studied, because the yield of Lucerne seeds increases and the quality of seeds improves. The yield of oriental galega seeds of the variety Polesskaya is very high when boric fertilizers are applied at shooting stage.
