In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was developed the KR-1 compound feed recipe with inclusion of powdered skim milk substitute 'Start-1'. Also there was defined the effectiveness of its feeding in diets of calves. The composition of KR-1 compound feeds included the following: barley, wheat, peas, meal soy, swept, monocalcium phosphate, salt and PKR-1. It was determined that feeding calves with KR-1 mixed feed with the inclusion of 15% by weight of powdered skim milk substitute increases daily weight gain by 2,0% and provides 95 thousand Belarusian rubles of profit from prime cost reduction per one animal in the growing period.
