Glucose oxidase appears one of the most important substances for catalyzation of glucose in biological moistures and necessary for medicinal diagnostics of carbohydrate metabolism disorders. Specificity and high sensibility of glucose oxidase determines its utilization in biosensor technologies, medicinal practice and for the creation of plant-protective biopreparations. Penicillium adametzii LF F 2044.1 appears a high-active producer of extracellular glucose oxidase. Morphological characteristics of Penicillium adametzii LF F 2044.1 colonies, grown in temperature range of 10-35 Celsius degree, are determined. Following thermal adaptation of the fungal variants growing at temperature of 35 and 37 Celsius degree are obtained. It is shown that thermo-tolerant variants of Penicillium adametzii LF F 2044.1 differed in growth rate and morphological parameters. Thermal adaptation does not influence significantly glucose oxidase production level although one of the 4 thermo-tolerant variants is distinguished by 10% rise in glucose oxidase synthesis as compared to the parent srain.
