In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was realized evaluation of responses of the recognized varieties of white cabbage (Brassica oleracea convar. capitata var. alba L.) (Mara), table beet (Beta vulgaris) (Prygazhunya), and carrot (Daucus carota) (Lyavonikha) cultivated on sod-podzolic light soils to various kinds of fertilizers on the backgrounds of green manure and green-animal manure. It is established that the increased mineral nutrition have enhanced accumulation in the swing of vitamin С in cabbage, 2-13% in carrots - carotene by 2-8% and soluble sugars by 3-9%. Against a background primary of depletion products beets and on dry substance 3-8%, and also led to increase in the maintenance of nitrates on 57-116% in the production of beet and 3-74% of heads of cabbage with a decrease of this index to 6-32% in roots of carrot. The highest increase of productivity on fertilized background in comparison with the control (on 31-86%) was marked at cabbage and approximately twice smaller (on 4-47%) at carrots and beetroot. Application of mineral fertilizers led to 3-24% increase of the content of basic nutritive elements of all three vegetable crops. The most significant display of the given effect was marked for nitrogen in production of table beet, as well as phosphorus and especially potassium in root crops of carrots. The most expressed dependence on a level of a mineral feed was stated for the following parameters: for cabbage - productivity and commodity qualities of production, and also the content of dry substances, soluble sugars and nitrates; for table beet - the content of nitrogen, phosphorus and nitrates, at carrots - the content of phosphorus and potassium.
