In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were examined the parameters of microclimate in the zone of recreation of piglets and the growth of animals while using different methods of heating and heat localization. Results of research showed that the use of brooders in the form of caps with vertical protection in suckling and after-weaning periods is the most efficient, in addition to local heating in the first three weeks of suckling period with the help of incandescent lamps.
